I tend to like back lighting. I think it works well in this photo. On my laptop, I have to look at just the right angle, or it is too dark. Let me know if you can see it alright.

I love the shadow symmetry from the early morning sun and a white picket fence. Throw in a garden and trees for highlights.

Fall Colors

I read an article about fall colors. I forgot to note the name and web site so I cannot give proper credit. However it said that the best way to get good fall colors was to edit the photo. I was disappointed with what my camera did with the color, but I think I over did the editing just a little. See what you think:

I believe that the bees love apricots because they bloom so early when there are not a lot of flowers to choose from. It is too bad that a few days later it snowed.

A couple of years ago, we had a lot of honey bees show up on the first day when the crocus bloomed. I got a few great shots like this one. (The macro settings on an Olympus IR-500 are incredible.)
